The labor supply shortage, volatility in material prices, supply chain issues, and inflation have driven up the cost of maintenance, unit turns, and construction.

It is becoming increasingly difficult to find vendors that can complete projects in a timely, cost-effective, and scalable fashion. At Atlas, our goals are to keep occupancy high, turn times low, and expenses reasonable for both the property owners and residents we serve.

In March of 2022, Atlas launched its maintenance company to help control these variables and supplement their construction and maintenance needs. This gives Atlas more control over their labor and materials so they can keep maintenance and construction affordable and potentially even lower costs compared to the market.

Meet our General Manager of Atlas Home Services, Jon Lohman

General Manager, Atlas Home Services

Atlas Home Services will collaborate with local area general contractors and subcontractors, vendors, suppliers, and government inspectors, while ensuring compliance with all federal and state regulations.

Jon Lohman joins Atlas with nearly 10 years of experience in high-volume residential construction, most recently serving as the General Manager of Zillow Offers, where he oversaw strategic operations and managed a team that completed more than 4,000 home renovations across Colorado. Prior to that, Lohman served as a Director at Invitation Homes, where he honed his operational skills in construction, rehabs and turns by managing maintenance for a portfolio consisting of 7,500 homes.

Lohman will be responsible for directly overseeing construction and rehabilitation of residential real estate nationwide, supervising all projects across Atlas Real Estate’s business lines to ensure quality control and timely, cost-effective construction and maintenance delivery. Operating at both a strategic and tactical level under Jon’s leadership, Atlas Home Services will collaborate with local area general contractors and subcontractors, vendors, suppliers, and government inspectors, while ensuring compliance with all federal and state regulations.
