DENVER, Oct. 13, 2020 – Atlas Real Estate, a full-service real estate company specializing in investment brokerage, property management and institutional acquisition, has been named a Fast 50 honoree by Denver Business Journal.

The Fast 50 Awards is an annual ranking by Denver Business Journal, recognizing privately held companies based on their percentage of growth in annual revenue for the past three fiscal years and celebrating the region’s innovators and entrepreneurs.

“We have seen remarkable growth at Atlas over the past several years and intend to sustain that growth trajectory in the future despite being in the midst of a global pandemic,” said Tony Julianelle, CEO of Atlas Real Estate. “I’m grateful to work with such an amazing team of people who have risen to the challenge and continually push the envelope on our business.”

Atlas Real Estate has grown tremendously since the company was founded in 2013. Starting with locations in Denver, Colorado Springs and Fort Collins, Colorado, Atlas later expanded its presence to Phoenix, Arizona. In 2019, Atlas outgrew its landmark office, the Zang Mansion, moving to more spacious headquarters at 970 Yuma, Denver, CO.

In order to be considered in the Fast 50 List, companies must have a gross annual revenue of $1 million or more. Companies interested in making the Fast 50 List were asked to complete an application and questionnaire. Finalists are ranked on revenue growth based on verified information submitted in the questionnaire.

Metro Denver apartment rents were on the rise before pandemic

For the last several years, property managers have focused on recruiting tenants to fill empty new apartments or homes. For the past month, they have focused on reaching out to tenants and setting up payment plans for those who have lost income. Next month and in the months to follow, they will likely focus on trying to keep units and homes from going empty.

“We are trying to protect against vacancies,” said Ryan Boykin, co-founder of Denver-based Atlas Real Estate, which provides property management and brokerage services, on a webinar last week. “I’m very curious about what May looks like.“

To address the pandemic’s adverse effect on the real estate community, the firm has launched an educational webinar series and created a Resident Resource Manager role.

DENVER, April 20, 2020—Atlas Real Estate, a full-service real estate company specializing in investment brokerage, property management and institutional acquisition, today announces the launch of its webinar series every other Friday starting on April 24, and a new Resident Resource Manager role to guide the communities it serves through these unprecedented times.

In an ongoing effort to cultivate strong community, the Atlas team is actively monitoring public health and government agency recommendations, finding resources to support residents, owners and community members. With this goal in mind, Atlas has promoted Erika Ojeda-Louvier to a newly-created role, Resident Resource Manager (RRM).

As RRM, Erika strives to increase understanding and access to resources for community members during the COVID-19 pandemic. She also helps residents identify the benefits they qualify for, apply for those benefits and utilize them as effectively as possible.

Erika works diligently to minimize the impact of COVID-19 for industry stakeholders and provide resources and guidance for residents. Together, Erika and the Atlas team have developed a strategic action plan to ensure all community members have access to as many resources as possible.

Atlas partners Jason Shepherd and Ryan Boykin continue to disrupt the Denver real estate market with the creation of VenUse, an AirBnb type short term rental portal for commercial real estate. The Denver Post highlights why VenUse was created and what they hope to accomplish:

“Commercial real estate is so broker-centeric. People just need a place to go to see what is available,” said Jason Shepherd, a co-founder of the new real estate portal.

Shepherd said the only limits are a building owner’s flexibility and renter’s creativity in using the space. Art galleries could host more business gatherings and food truck vendors could inhabit restaurant kitchens after the last diners leave.

There are warehouses that could help carry the holiday crush of inventory on their empty shelves. And corporate board rooms that could host small business gatherings. VenUse also has empty window spaces to host ad displays.

“We are recycling real estate,” Shepherd said.
