So, our strategy evolved. A long-term buy-and-hold method is what we teach today. It overcomes both of our major challenges and provides extremely compelling annualized returns over a long period of time at a low-risk factor.

Today, when we look for deals, we make sure that properties both provide cash flow and will appreciate over the long term. With our deep experience comes the knowledge of where, when and how to invest in order to fulfill your financial goals.

Atlas started with our founders doing 500 fix-n-flips in 2008.
That strategy worked at the time but it had two major problems:

We were never able to reduce our risk profile year over year. We we’re essentially taking all our gains and putting them “back on black” with every new property.
Our biggest business partner was the government. It is tough to accumulate wealth in an environment where you are giving 40 percent plus in taxes.

Investors can trust that Atlas brokers will not sell you a deal that we wouldn’t buy ourselves. And we only say this because it’s true. Step 1: Financing

Because we manage our own portfolio of hundreds of properties in addition to thousands of third-party properties, we are very accustomed to fulfilling maintenance and rehab needs. Our extensive list of preferred vendors is comprised of our most trustworthy partners, both in terms of customer service and satisfaction. They work quickly and efficiently, and because Atlas refers so much business to them, we get preferred pricing, meaning our clients do to.
Step 4: Resident Placement

As investors ourselves, we understand the cost of vacancy and the importance of finding and keeping the right residents in your properties. At Atlas, our interests are completely aligned with yours. In the past seven years, we have successfully placed over 2,400 residents into our properties, with a vacancy rate of less than 10%. On average, single family residents choose to stay in an Atlas property for at least four years.
Step 5: Property Management

Once Atlas has screened and successfully placed the right resident(s) in your investment property, we aim to maintain a mutually beneficial relationship with both the investor and the resident.
